Paradísarlaut (Paradise Hollow)
A hidden gem near Glanni Waterfall, Paradísarlaut features a serene blue pond nestled in a mossy lava field. A short trail leads you to this peaceful spot, perfect for immersing yourself in Icelandic nature and tranquility.
Glanni Waterfall
This shimmering waterfall, surrounded by lava fields from the ancient Grábrók eruption, offers a picturesque setting steeped in folklore. Legends of elves and trolls enrich the area, and anglers often enjoy the salmon- and trout-rich river.

The summer months, specifically from mid-May to mid-August, are peak season. At the Látrabjarg cliffs, you can see millions of birds, including puffins and the Arctic tern, before they head back to sea in late August.
Can we see humpback whales in the Westfjords?
