Visit Hjálparfoss Waterfall

We make a stop at Hjálparfoss, a twin waterfall set within a lava field and surrounded by basalt formations. The two streams meet in a calm pool below, creating a unique and photogenic setting. It’s also one of the last green areas before entering the more remote Highlands, and a good place to stretch your legs before continuing the drive to Landmannalaugar.
