The tour starts in Akureyri and continues north, along the coastline, to Laufás Turf Houses and Museum. Here you will experience the Icelandic cultural heritage of the past and get insights into the life of Icelanders from a time not so long ago. You will also see the unique herringbone pattern of the turf bricks.

The next stop is the mighty Goðafoss Waterfall, where there will be rich opportunities to capture the power of the Skjálfandafljót glacier river. Goðafoss translates to the waterfall of the gods, which is a fitting name.

The last stop on the way back to Akureyri is the Forrest Lagoon, heated by natural geothermal water, which is sourced from the mountains. The natural water is said to have healing powers.

Entrance fees to Nature Lagoon and Laufás Turf Houses and Museum are included in the tour.

Various photo stops are added to the tour depending on the weather.
