Explore the Moon / Lagoon
This 6 hour action tour takes us to the the Reykjanes area with all
it´s volcanic, geothermal power and moon like landscape.
We start our tour by driving to Hellisheidi geothermal area, where we will explore the lavafield´s that came from the Hengill volcanic area. Gaze over a geothermal power plant in surreal landscape dotted with steam vents and boreholes.
Then we will drive the amazing 1000 lake route, with lot of off-road driving and splashing through rivers (the driver loves this part).
We then drive some off-road tracks in the lunar like landscape on the route to Kleifarvatn lake, this part is where the tectonic plates drift apart. This is the reason why Reykjanes is so volcanic.
Now we head towards the Blue lagoon for a revitalizing bath, here you have the change to soak in and feel the energy of this surreal place.
This amazing scenery of endless lava fields, vast and deserted but still so close to the city will give you the change to explore the moon. (Almost)
